Soil Testing

Soil testing allows you to best care for your plants and avoid over-fertilization. Test results will include lab recommendations and consultation with CCD Staff to answer questions you may have.

Soil sample materials and information are available at Calhoun Counties' USDA Service Center office: 13464 Preston Dr. Suite 120, Marshall, MI, 49068.

Cost:

$25/sample for 1-4 samples

$20/sample for 5 samples or more

​

Soil probe rental is also available by appointment.
